Bauma 2025 - all expectations exceeded

With a highly successful bauma, Rotar International B.V. has shown that it is prepared for the challenges of the future. The expansion of the team in management and sales as well as the high-quality and technically convincing product and service portfolio - in combination with the special spirit of the Rotar team - caused quite a stir in Munich and an always full exhibition stand.

Since last summer, the Dutch owner-managed manufacturer of add-on tools for demolition, recycling and scrap, Rotar, has an experienced management duo in the industry: Louis Broekhuizen, who has been Commercial Director at Rotar for many years, now works together with Dominik Erath as Managing Partner in the team, so that more countries can be supported even more intensively and further future-oriented projects can be tackled. In addition, the international sales team was recently strengthened with the addition of Kenan Çirak, who will be responsible for Norway, Sweden, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria and the Baltic states, as well as adding expertise in ship dismantling and offshore business.

Overwhelming response

With this new strength, the Rotar team was able to convince dealers as well as users at the trade fair and inspire many new contacts for the red attachments. The success of Rotar has been always based on six principles anchored in the company's DNA, which have characterised the quality of the red attachments for over 40 years: The highest quality materials, components exclusively from brand manufacturers, special expertise in the field of hydraulics, a simple and robust design with long-lasting wear parts, as well as a complete documentation and a competent and fast service organisation. Louis Broekhuizen explains: ‘With the values that make up Rotar's DNA, we were able to convince customers and interested parties from all over the world at the trade fair - this response really exceeded our expectations by far.’

Focus on high tonnages

A particular focus was on attachments for large tonnages such as the RSS 150 X scrap shear with a working weight of 17 tonnes. The reasons for the ever larger and more powerful attachments are larger carrier units, which are required to meet the increasing demands of the industry in terms of charging and handling ever larger and more demanding demolition parts. Another focus was the fully integrated ROQ adapter system, which offers numerous advantages for all OilQuick, Steelwrist and Lehnhoff systems: Dealers do not have to assemble the system themselves, but receive a plug & play solution that is ready for immediate use. Users benefit from the flat design, low weight, optimised load centre of gravity, internal hoses with optimised fuel-saving hydraulic oil flow, significantly easier maintenance and even a lower purchase price.

Dominik Erath summarises: ‘This bauma was simply overwhelming! Not only were we able to close many deals directly and prepare numerous others, the whole team impressed the visitors with our very special team spirit! We were in dialogue with many customers and dealers. Also, we were able to inspire many new interested parties and strategic partners with our quality and approach and thus tp further expand our network on all five continents.’
